NBU attracts US$60m credits from Chinese bank

National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activities (NBU) will attract US$60 million credit from China Development Bank to finance supply of equipment and technology within private investment projects.

The Uzbek bank said Chinese bank allocated funds without state warranty or insurance. No other details were announced.

The credit agreement was signed within Bishkek summit of the Interbank Union of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
