Zakirjon Almatov appointed as advisor to Minister of Internal Affairs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, Major-General Pulat Bobojonov, appointed Zakirjon Almatov as his adviser.

Colonel-General Zakirjon Almatov headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan in 1991-2006. In 2006, he retired.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, by his resolution, introduced the posts of the minister’s adviser.

This decision was made in order to create a system for increasing the potential of young cadres and their professional skills.
