Youth policy in Uzbekistan: status and prospects

It was attended by representatives of the Executive Committee of the Political Council and UzLiDeP council in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, members of UzLiDeP faction in the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis, professors, teachers, students of educational institutions, activists of the "Youth wing" and media.

The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 6, 2014 “On additional measures aimed at implementation in the Republic of Uzbekistan of the state youth policy” became a logical continuation of the reform in Uzbekistan and marking the beginning of a new phase of the work in this direction.

– During the years of independence in Uzbekistan adopted many State programs directed to upbringing the growing generation in the spirit of national and universal values, educated personalities with high creative and intellectual potential, -said Z.Haniyazov, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and member of UzLiDeP, - Currently, there is performed huge work in this direction in the Republic of Karakalpakstan such as "Youth Center” which was built in Nukus city.

At the event the participants noted that improving the socio-political activity of youth, enhance their interest in entrepreneurship, particularly employment of college graduates, bring them to the party project, comprehensive support initiatives and aspirations of youth are the priority tasks of UzLiDeP.

During the event, have presented the projects " To business with diploma", "Entrepreneur Student”, "My place in the parliament", “Young Scientists and Senior Scientific Researchers”, "Youth and national legislation", "Safer Internet", "Farmer of the future" directed to attract youth to the party projects.

The youth took an active part in the event and where they received detailed answers to questions from specialists.
