Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Ministry of Health, a 53-year-old patient, a resident of Almazar district, was undergoing treatment in a multidisciplinary clinic of the Tashkent Medical Academy with a diagnosis of COVID-19.

The disease was severe and accompanied by bilateral pneumonia, the Uzbek Health Ministry said.

Despite the standard resuscitation procedures performed by doctors, the patient’s condition worsened, and she died from acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure.
