Winners of competition among journalists announced
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
An awarding ceremony of the contest among journalists on coverage of problems related to ozone layer and measures adopted on this direction was held in Tashkent.
Farid Garakhanov, the UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Uzbekistan, expressed gratitude to the journalists for their work related to ozone layer.
The organizers said that over 50 works were received to competition and the jury selected the winners.
Newspaper Ledi, radio Oriat, newspaper Khalq Sozi, internet edition Novosti Uzbekistan, Econews portal, Gazeta.uz, Biznes-Daily Birja, TV and radio channel Tashkent, UzDaily, UzA, Kultura.uz, Sog’lom Avlod magazine, Turkiston-press, DARYO, Pravda Vostoka, 12news.uz, Uzbekistan Today, Biznes-vestnik Vostoka were awarded for their contribution to coverage of protection of ozone layer.
Poytaxt-ECO of Tashkent TV and radio channel received an award for complex approach to coverage of protection of ozone layer. Inson va Tabiat of Yoshlar channel received specia award for wide coverage of issues related to protection of ozone layer.
Jahon news agency won the main prize – photo camera – for interesting article on protection of ozone layer.
