White & Case opens its office in Uzbekistan

A representative office of the US law firm was opened in Tashkent on 29 January 2018.
It should be reminded that the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and White & Case signed a memorandum within the framework of the visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to New York on 18-20 September 2017.
Within the framework of the documents, the parties intend to organize training of legal personnel on commercial and arbitration law from Uzbekistan at White & Case offices in the United States.
At the moment, White & Case is the only US law firm in Uzbekistan.
The office of the law firm will work in a number of key areas, including updating the legal framework of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
