Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the end of 2020, the share of trade (including repair of vehicles) in the GDP of the Republic of Uzbekistan made up 6.4%, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

In 2020, in the structure of gross value added of trade (including repair of motor vehicles), the largest share fell on retail trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles) and reached 69.2% (in 2019 - 68.2%, in 2018 - 67.3%).

The share of wholesale trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles) amounted to 24.8% (in 2019 - 25.3%, in 2018 - 26.2%), wholesale and retail trade in motor vehicles and their repair - 6.0% (in 2019 - 6.5%, in 2018 - 6.5%).
