Week of Health kicks off in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A Week of medical examination of population, including veterans of war and labour, elder people, under motto “No one will be left without care and attention!” started in Uzbekistan on 16 February 2015.

Ministry of Healthcare of Uzbekistan initiated the week in connection with the Year of attention and care to elder people in Uzbekistan.

Over 300 leading scholars and doctors of Uzbekistan are participating in the social campaign, which will be held on 16-21 February 2015.

The specialists will examine population within the campaign and promote healthy lifestyle, creation of health family, preventing some diseases. They will give necessary recommendation to the patients after examinations.

Doctors from the regions will also attend the campaign, which will help to improve their knowledge and exchange experience with the leading doctors.
