So, the Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO) Kunio Mikuriya notes that the announcement of 2020 in our country as the Year of the Development of Science, Education and the Digital Economy is in tune with some of the WCO’s strategic priorities.
In his opinion, the initiatives of Uzbekistan on cooperation in the field of contingency, as well as the development of transport and trade, make a significant contribution to the prosperity of the region.
In this regard, the WCO Secretary General confirms the organization’s commitment to expand cooperation with Uzbekistan and to continue to contribute to the achievement of national goals through the exchange of knowledge and capacity-building for the development and modernization of customs authorities.
