War and labour veterans receive free tickets to sanatoriums
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
War and labour veterans started to receive free tickets to sanatoriums, where they can take rest and improve their health, the press service of the Ministry of Labour of Uzbekistan said.
The free tickets are issued to implement presidential decree “On measures on further strengthening support of veterans of war and labour in 1941-1945” and within the state programme “The Year of Attention and Care of Elder People”.
The ministry said that wide-scale preparation works were conducted in all sanatoriums, where war and labour veterans will be rehabilitated. Special rooms for veterans were equipped and necessary conditions were created.
The doctors are examining elder people and they are undergoing rehabilitation procedures. There are phyto-bars at sanatoriums, where elder people and others can try oxygen skin or medical contail.
The elder people also can play chess or checkers, watch films, visit library to read books, as well as enjoy concerts of Uzbek celebrities.
