WAFF decides not to host World Cup in Iran
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
World Amputee Football Federation decided not to hold the World Cup in Iran. As earlier reported, the tournament should be held in Iran in October 2012.
The WAFF did not announce the reason for the decision, the Uzbekistan Football Federation said. The WAFF is planning to consider proposals of the member-states.
As reported earlier, current world champions, Uzbekistan national team is planning to participate in the upcoming tournament. The team started preparations to the tournament in Tashkent this week.
