Uztekstilprom Association takes part in exhibition in Ashgabat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 29 to 31 March 2018, a delegation of the Uztekstilprom Association consisting of 10 people and representatives of 6 enterprises of the textile and clothing and knitwear industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan took part in the National Industrial Exhibition of Domestic Enterprises and Export-Oriented Products Manufacturers "Made in Uzbekistan" in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan).

The purpose of the exhibition is to promote domestic industrial companies and investment achievements to the market of Turkmenistan, to present various investment projects for concluding contracts with Turkmen and other foreign companies, to familiarize business circles and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan with the scientific and production potential and the cultural and historical heritage of our country.

More than 200 managers and specialists from over 70 large companies and enterprises of Uzbekistan took part in the exhibition in Ashgabat. In the pavilions of the exhibition, consisting of two blocks, a wide range of manufactured in Uzbekistan manufactured goods, including textile and sewing and knitting products, was demonstrated.

In the exposition of the Association "Uztekstilprom" men’s, women’s and children’s textile and knitwear, school uniforms, towels and robes, sewing and textile equipment, sportswear, yarn, fabrics and other products were presented.

Within the framework of the exhibition, representatives of Uzbekistan’s light industry held presentations of the production, export and investment potential of textile enterprises of our country.

Participation in such exhibitions not only demonstrates the production potential of Uzbekistan, but also helps to increase the recognition of the brand "Made in Uzbekistan" in the person of domestic producers, including enterprises of the Association "Uztekstilprom".

In 2017, the volume of trade between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan made up US$177 million. Meanwhile, mutual deliveries of products with high added value are growing.
