UzLiDeP holds event to boost participation of youth in elections

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The movement of entrepreneurs and business people – The Liberal-Democratic party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) held a conference “Active participation of youth in electoral process – important factor for democratization of the society” in Karshi, Kashkadarya region.

The event was aimed at ensuring active participation of youth in upcoming presidential elections, which will be held on 29 March 2015, improve their legal knowledge on elections and developments in the country.

At the event, the participants also discussed speech of the President of Uzbekistan at the solemn ceremony dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of Constitution of Uzbekistan and implementation tasks, outlined in the speech of the president.

The participants also considered election system of Uzbekistan and the results of the parliamentary elections, which took in Uzbekistan on 21 December 2014.
