UzLiDeP discusses draft law “On veterinary”

Members of UzLiDeP faction at the Legislative Chamber, state bodies, Farmers’ Council, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, experts and specialists, farmers and businesses participated in the event.

At the event, the participants discussed a draft law “On veterinary” in new edition. The law “On veterinary” was adopted on 3 September 1993, which serves for protection of people and animals from diseases and prevent spread of diseases in the country, etc.

MP Rustam Kobilov said that the law has no mechanisms of interaction of veterinary service with other ministries and departments, and norms, regulating production and use of medicaments in veterinary, shortages in control area in this area.

The new edition of law offers new articles, which sets authorities of the Government, state veterinary service and local state bodies in places.

The draft law reflects measures on preventing, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, ensure veterinary stability and lab exams, etc.

The draft law will help to ordering and improving cooperation of farmers, sets veterinary-sanitary requirements to husbandry farms and private farms and others.

At the meeting, the sides made proposals and recommendations, directed at further improving the draft law.
