Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 21 March 2021, the Ustyurt Gas Production Department produces 9 million 620 thousand cubic meters of natural gas and 156 tons of gas condensate daily.

This year, after drilling, 8 new wells were launched at the gas fields of the Ustyurt Gas Production Department, and 7 existing wells were overhauled, as a result of which the daily volume of natural gas produced by the department increased by 1 million cubic meters.

In accordance with the comprehensive measures aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production approved by the order of the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz from 21 January  2021 No. 28 "On comprehensive measures aimed at increasing gas and gas condensate production rates", drilling is planned in 2021. wells, capital repairs of 70 wells and commissioning of 8 technological objects.

As a result of the timely implementation of these geological and technical measures, it is planned to produce 953.5 million cubic meters of natural gas and 23.7 thousand tons of gas condensate.

In particular, in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan from 9 March, 2017 No. 2822 (within the framework of the program), 7 wells were equipped and put into operation at the facilities of the Ustyurt gas production department in the reporting period of this year after drilling.

Within the framework of the program, it is planned to start drilling 23 wells in 2021, as a result of the timely implementation of these works, the daily rate of natural gas production is planned to be increased by an additional 1.725 million cubic meters.
