Uzbekneftegaz, Gazprombank discuss financing of oil and gas projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Management of Uzbekneftegaz held a meeting with officials of Russia’s Gazprombank.

The meeting was attended by the heads of enterprises and organizations of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, as well as the Deputy Chairmen of the Management Board of Gazprombank (GPB) A.A. Matveev and A.P. Belous.

During the meeting, it was noted that Gazprombank is one of the leading partners of Uzbekneftegaz. Today, the parties are working together not only to study and organize financing of a number of investment projects implemented in the oil and gas industry of Uzbekistan, but also in other areas. In particular, a mandate agreement was signed on the appointment of Gazprombank as one of the two Global Coordinators and co-bookrunners of the debut issue of Eurobonds of Uzbekneftegaz on international capital markets.

The next meeting with representatives of Gazprombank allowed to discuss topical issues on such projects as the “Expansion of the production capacity of the Shurtan Gas Chemical Complex”, the Program to increase hydrocarbon production for 2017-2021 and others.
