Uzbekneftegaz expands cooperation with Arab oil companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekneftegaz headed by acting chairman of the Board Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov from 11 to 13 November 2018 was on a working visit to Abu Dhabi (UAE).

As part of the visit, the delegation visited a headquarters of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Panorama Digital Center, where members of the delegation familiarized themselves with advanced data transmission technologies and the capabilities of artificial intelligence used in production and business activities of the company.

During the visit, talks were held with the Director of the Executive Directorate of ADNOC, Omar Al Suwaidi, and the Executive Director of ADNOC Offshore, Ahmed Al Suwaidi, the press service of Uzbekneftegaz said.

Following the results, a number of documents were signed, including the Strategic Framework Agreemen, envisaging provision by ADNOC of strategic recommendations on exploration, development, production (Upstream) and processing (Downstream) of gas.

In addition, the delegation from Uzbekneftegaz JSC took part in the International Exhibition and Conference of the Oil Industry in Abu Dhabi (ADIPEC 2018).

By the way, this forum is the most important industry event in the Middle East. This year, it was attended by 2,200 companies, which presented the latest technologies for the development of oil and gas fields, processing, storing and transporting products of the oil and gas and petrochemical industries.

The conference, held as part of the exhibition, allowed a record number of executive directors of 27 leading oil and gas companies, such as Lukoil, CNPC, Gazprom, BP, Total, Socar, Saudi Aramco, RWE and others, to be assembled at one venue.
