Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Members of the "Working Group" headed by the Chairman of the Board of "Uzbekneftegaz" Mehriddin Abdullayev visited the GTL plant in order to study the construction process and commissioning in accordance with the approved plan.

At present, the construction site of the plant in Kashkadarya region continues intensive construction work, where about 4 thousand local and foreign workers, as well as specialists, work. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekneftegaz.

Members of the "Working Group" headed by the Chairman of the Board visited the construction site, where they got acquainted with the conditions created for the employees, the condition of the living quarters, the construction and installation work carried out, studied the achievements and admissible shortcomings.

In order to ensure the continuity of construction and installation work, instructions were given to attract new specialists from local and foreign countries, to create all the necessary conditions for them.

Considering that in September, Enter Engineering Pte. Ltd. involved about 5 thousand workers to complete construction and installation work on time, it was noted that it is necessary to create the necessary conditions to preserve their health.

Currently, the state of supply of 93% of the main technological equipment to the construction site has been studied, of which 73% (or 34.1 thousand tons) are installed on the technological territory of the plant.

Additional assignments have been identified to deliver the rest of the main technical equipment and installation as soon as possible.

At the GTL plant "Working Group", headed by the Chairman of the Board, they also got acquainted with the state of work on the supply of electricity, raw water, fuel gas, fire-fighting system and Fischer-Tropsch reactors with a total weight of over 8 thousand tons.

In accordance with the approved plan, the construction process and commissioning of the main technological devices were critically analyzed.

Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz, Uzbekistan GTL, general contractor - "Hyundai Engineering Ltd." and Enter Engineering Pte. Ltd. " with the responsible persons of the consortium discussed the timely completion of construction.

During the conversation, instructions were given to complete the construction of the plant no later than the specified date, to attract the maximum level of technical equipment and resources, and to ensure its launch this year.

With the commissioning of this plant, 3.6 billion cubic meters of purified natural gas (methane) will be processed per year and the production of 1.5 million tons of high-quality synthetic liquid fuel will be achieved, including more than 307 thousand tons of aviation kerosene, 724 thousand tons of diesel fuel, 437 thousand tons of oil and 53 thousand tons of liquefied gas.
