Uzbekneftegaz and Tapline Discuss Gas Infrastructure

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz, held a meeting with Zhong Fan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chinese company Tapline, a leading entity in gas transportation infrastructure.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the current status and future prospects of bilateral cooperation, with a particular focus on the activities of the "Asia Trans Gas" joint venture. Established in 2008, the joint venture has ensured the stable and reliable transportation of natural gas through three strings of the main gas pipeline crossing the territory of Uzbekistan.

The sides noted the steady positive momentum of their interaction and the practical effectiveness of their joint projects. At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their mutual interest in further strengthening the partnership and expressed readiness to continue collaborating on ongoing initiatives.
