Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekkino and the MIR TV and radio company have launched a joint project to create a 50-minute documentary film about Uzbekistan under the chairmanship of Uzbekistan during a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State in October 2020.

As part of the preparation for the implementation of the project, several videoconferences were held with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the MTRK Mir Irina Kuzminskaya, the General Director of Uzbekkino Firdavs Abdukhalikov, the Director of the State Unitary Enterprise "Film Studio of Documentary and Chronicle Films" Bakhodyr Adylov, media consultant Andrey Teshayev, as well as - the technical team of the project.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the concept of the future film and expressed ideas for its content. The purpose of the joint project is to demonstrate the achievements of the New, developing Uzbekistan in all spheres of life, as well as to strengthen and expand integration with the CIS countries. The film, as conceived by the authors, should become a modern visiting card of Uzbekistan, reflect ancient traditions and modernity, touch on the main aspects of cultural, social, political, economic life in the country. In addition, it is planned to talk about the tourist attractiveness of the republic.

According to preliminary agreements, the objects of filming will be both large industrial centers - the UzTEX textile enterprise (Chirchik), the Chevrolet automobile plant (Asaka), and private entrepreneurs, artisans. Much attention will be paid to the landmark historical moments of our country - veterans of the Second World War, as well as eyewitnesses of the Tashkent earthquake, will take part in the film.

An agreement on the joint production of a documentary film on the chairmanship of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the CIS in 2020, as well as on the progress of the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, was reached by Uzbekkino and MTRK Mir in February this year. After the approval of the script for the film, "Uzbekkino" will assist in organizing the visit of the film crew of MTRK "Mir" to Uzbekistan and providing technical support for filming.

The final film will be shown on MTRK Mir and one of the TV channels of Uzbekistan in October. An abbreviated version of the film will be shown on the eve of the Summit of Heads of State of the CIS countries, which will be held on October 16, 2020 in Tashkent.
