Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari completed a project on modernization and electrification of the Karshi-Kitab railway line.

The company’s specialists modernized and electrified 124 km steel routes, the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari said.

The company also built new stations and reconstructed the stations. It also built 2 bridges and about 20 artificial structures.

Now the experts of the company conduct technical tests of the railway line. An electric locomotive was driven along the modernized road. Afrosiyob high-speed train also passed via the road for the first time.
