Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the establishment of additional non-working days during the celebration of official dates and the transfer of days off in 2020”, Uzbekiston Temir Yollari announces provision of discounts on the tariff for passenger trains of domestic traffic in the period from 30 August to 1 September 2020.

Holiday discounts are provided:

- pensioners, disabled people, WWII and WWII 1941-1945 and persons equated to them - 50%;

- students of universities, schoolchildren, students of colleges and lyceums, students of special educational institutions of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Defense, State Security Service, State Tax Committee, State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan (upon presentation of certificates and student cards) - 15%;

- family (2 or more people - husband and wife; husband, wife and their children under 18; father or mother with children under 18) (if there is a marriage certificate; attach copies to reports) - 15% ;

- teams (if there is an application of 4 or more people) - 15%;

- for high-speed electric trains "Afrosiab" for all categories of passengers - 10%
