Uzbekistan’s Metallurgical Industry Output Exceeds 206 Trillion Soums

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The output of Uzbekistan’s metallurgical industry in January–November 2025 exceeded 206 trillion soums.

According to the State Committee on Statistics, enterprises in the sector produced goods worth 206.9 trillion soums, representing a 1.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The largest contribution came from Navoi Region, where metallurgical production reached 118.8 trillion soums. Significant volumes were also recorded in Tashkent Region — 57.6 trillion soums, and in the city of Tashkent — 20.8 trillion soums.

In Samarkand Region, production totaled 6.1 trillion soums, while Namangan Region reported 1.1 trillion soums. In other regions, output was measured in hundreds of billions of soums. Sirdarya Region produced 937.4 billion soums, Ferghana Region — 340 billion soums, Jizzakh Region — 300.2 billion soums, Surkhandarya Region — 283.3 billion soums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan — 204.1 billion soums, Bukhara Region — 190.6 billion soums, and Andijan Region — 128.8 billion soums.

More modest production volumes were recorded in Khorezm Region — 63.5 billion soums, and Kashkadarya Region — 36.9 billion soums.
