Uzbekistan’s GDP exceeds 144.868 trln. soums in 2014

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of gross domestic product (GDP) of Uzbekistan made up 144867.9 billion soums at current prices in 2014, according to preliminary data, the press service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The growth rate of Uzbekistan’s GDP made up 8.1% in 2014 compared to 2013.

In the structure of GDP by forms of ownership the share of the non-state sector is 82.9% and that of the state sector – 17.1%.

Share of goods production in structure of the GDP made 37.6% in January-December 2014 (38.7% in January- December 2013) and service production – 54% (53%).

Net taxes on products and export-import operations made up 8.4% in the GDP structure in January-December 2014 (8.3% in January-December 2013).
