Uzbekistan’s Foreign Ministry Expresses Serious Concern over Escalation in the Middle East

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan has expressed serious concern over the sharp escalation of tensions in the Middle East, which has contributed to rising instability across the broader region.

In its statement, the ministry emphasized that Uzbekistan calls on all parties to exercise maximum restraint and refrain from any further actions that could provoke a dangerous escalation with unpredictable consequences, both militarily and in humanitarian terms.

The statement underscores the necessity of resolving the crisis in accordance with international law, exclusively through political and diplomatic means, and via mutually acceptable dialogue.

The Republic of Uzbekistan consistently advocates for strengthening regional stability and security and expresses hope for the prompt normalization of the situation, the ministry added.
