Uzbekistan’s agriculture output grows by 4/6% in Jan-Jun 2009

Agriculture output of Uzbekistan grew by 4.6% year-on-year in January-June 2009 to 4.985 trillion soums, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
The committee said output of plant-growing was 2.657 trillion soums or increased by 3.1% year-on-year in the reporting period.
Animal husbandry produced 2.327 trillion soums of agriculture output or it rose by 6.2% year-on-year.
