Uzbekistan uses investments for 33.715 trln. soums in 2014
The used investments into fixed capital is US dollars equivalent reached US$14.6 billion in 2014, growing by 10.9% compared to 2013.
Last year, the ratio of investments into fixed capital to GDP of Uzbekistan made up 23.3%, which increased by 0.1 percentage points compared to 2013.
The volume of foreign direct investments rose by 9.3% and reached 5.339 trillion soums or US$2.3 billion in 2014.
The volume of investments of non-governmental sector into economy increased by 10.3% year-on-year in 2014. Its share in total volume of investments was 78.7%.
In January-December 2014, the construction works for 19.779 trillion soums were carried out in Uzbekistan, of which 80.6% fell to share of new constructions, expansion and re-equipment of enterprises, 17.7% - capital and current repair works and 1.7% - other works.
Uzbekistan commissioned 11.327 million square meters of habitation in 2014 (+6.8%), including rural areas – 8.379 million square meters (+4.2%).
