Uzbekistan U-23 defeats Ukraine’s Shakhtar

Uzbekistan U-23 successfully started international football tournament Dubai Matchworld Cup-2012, which is taking place in the United Arab Emirates.
In the first match of Group B, Vadim Abramov’s side defeated Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar Donestsk.
The score in the match was opened at the end of the first half through efforts of the striker Kenja Turaev.
In the second half, defense of Uzbekistan made a mistake and Luis Adriano scored equalizer for the Ukrainian side.
The full time ended with the score 1-1. In line with tournament rules, the winner was determined in penalty shootouts and Uzbek team won with the score 6-5.
