Uzbekistan U-17 defeats Morocco in Rabat friendly

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s under-17 national team secured a 4-2 victory over Morocco in a friendly match held in Rabat.

The scoring opened in the 19th minute when Sukhrob Sadirjonov found the net. Laziz Abduraymov extended Uzbekistan’s lead in the 34th minute. Before halftime, the hosts managed to reduce the deficit by converting a penalty in the 42nd minute.

After the break, Uzbekistan quickly regained control of the match. On the second minute of the second half, Sadirjonov scored his second goal of the game, and three minutes later Abduraymov also netted his second, putting the visitors firmly in command.

In the final minutes, Morocco attempted a comeback, scoring twice in the 88th and 89th minutes, but it was not enough to avoid defeat.

It is noteworthy that Morocco is the reigning champion of the 2025 Africa U-17 Cup.
