Uzbekistan transports 1.174bn tonnes of freight in Jan-Sep

The cargo turnover made up 67 billion tonnes-km or rose by 5.7% higher compared to the same period of 2015, the Uzbek State Statistics Committee said.

Share of automobile transport in total volume of transported freight was 91.8% (1.077 billion tonnes), railway transport – 4.3% (50.8 million tonnes), pipe transport – 3.9% (45.7 million tonnes).

Share of automobile transport in structure of cargo turnover reached 37.3%, pipe transport – 36.5% and railway transport – 26.1%.
