The programme included 39 projects in modernization and re-equipment of oil and gas industry. About US$5.1 billion of total investments will be foreign investments and loans, US$1.14 billion – own resources, US$543.8 million – loans of the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and US#313.7 million – loans of the Uzbek banks.
Russia’s LUKOIL will launch an active phase of the project on construction of gas processing plant and construction of Kandym group of gas fields in Bukhara region with the cost of US$2.66 billion. The plant will process 8.1 billion cubic meters of gas a year and will be launched in 2019.
Uzbekneftegaz and China’s CNPC will start to construct the fourth line of the Uzbek part of the gas pipeline Central Asia – China with the cost of US$800 million. It will be commissioned in 2017. The pipeline will have capacity of 20 billion cubic meters of gas.
IRED Co. Ltd of South Korea will prepare technical solutions on expansion of the capacities of the SHurtan gas chemical complex in Kashkadarya region. The project cost is US$570 million and planned to launch by 2020.
