Uzbekistan to hike fine for alcohol consumption at public places
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Factions of political parties and MPs Group of Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan at their sessions discussed a draft law “On introduction of changes and amendments to Code of Uzbekistan on administrative responsibility”.
The document is aimed at protecting rights of citizens, who do not consumer alcohol products, via increasing fine for consumption of alcohol products in public places and transport and decreasing harmful impact of alcohol.
The draft law will also help to prevent and decrease consumption of alcohol and tobacco products among citizens, including youth, via banking promotion of alcohol and tobacco goods.
