Uzbekistan to direct 23.7bn soums to development of SEZs

Uzbekistan is planning to invest over 23.701 billion soums to development of production, engineer-communication and transport infrastructures of special economic zones (SEZs).
The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On measures of further improving and increasing efficiency of activities of free economic zones”.
According to the resolution, the Government plans to direct about 1.556 billion soums to development of special economic zone “Navoi”.
Over 17.145 billion soums will spent to development of special economic zone “Angren” and 5 billion soums – to development of special economic zone “Jizzakh”.
