Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A draft administrative regulation for connecting individuals and legal entities to power grids has been published on the portal for discussing legislative documents.

According to the project, the connection of consumers will be carried out through a special online platform, Public Service Centers and the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services, by dividing them into 3 categories:

with a capacity of up to 20 kW - the Regional Electricity Network Enterprise (RPS) connects for payment of 30 sizes of the base calculated value within a period of 10 working days;

with a capacity from 20 to 50 kW - the RPS connects for payment in 60 sizes of the base calculated value within a period of 20 working days;

with a capacity above 50 kW - the technical conditions developed by the RPS are posted on the online platform, and business entities and RPS provide the consumer with ready-made connection agreements in accordance with these technical conditions - the payment and conditions are specified in the contract selected by the consumer and signed in accordance with the offer;

In accordance with the current administrative regulations, after paying 10% of the base calculated value for the technical conditions, the installation price is chosen by the consumer independently on the basis of commercial proposals - and the RPS only has the right to submit its proposal to the consumer.
