Uzbekistan, Tajikistan hold session of inter-governmental commission

A delegation led by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov arrived in Tajikistan to participate in the session of the intergovernmental commission.

During the session, the sides discussed wide range of actual issues on bilateral cooperation, including main parameters of interactions in the sphere of economy and trade, transport, industry, culture and education.

The delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan discussed main principles and approaches to solve issues related to increasing trade-economic turnover.

The parties reached agreement and set targets to address these and other issues.
