Uzbekistan Studies South Korea’s Digital Finance Models
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 6 to 9 April 2026, a delegation from the Treasury Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Chairman Abdulaziz Khaydarov, is conducting a working visit to Seoul. The visit takes place at the invitation of the Korea Fiscal Information Service (KFIS) as part of the World Bank’s "Institutional Capacity Building" project.
On the first day of the visit, Abdulaziz Khaydarov held a meeting with KFIS President Yun Seok-ho. The discussions focused on the digitalization of public finance, the implementation of modern information systems, and innovative management solutions. Particular emphasis was placed on expanding bilateral cooperation and accelerating the execution of practical projects.
The delegation was introduced to cutting-edge solutions utilized in South Korea, including the dBrain+ public financial management system, platforms for fiscal data analysis, the e-Naradoum subsidy management system, and South Korea’s experience in applying artificial intelligence technologies within the financial sector.
As part of the visit, the delegation also plans to study AI-based reform implementation in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Public Finance (KIPF). Additionally, they will visit the Korea Local Information Research and Development Institute (KLID) to analyze the operation of e-Hojo, the financial management system used at the local government level.
