Uzbekistan Strengthens Cooperation with JBIC and ITOCHU in Transport Infrastructure and Aviation Technologies
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 16 February, the Deputy Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan, Ilkhom Abdugafarov, held a working meeting with representatives of the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) and ITOCHU Corporation.
During the discussions, the parties explored prospects for collaboration within the framework of planned transport projects.
Particular attention was paid to financing the modernization of navigation equipment, enhancing the qualifications of specialists, and upgrading radio-technical flight support systems across the country.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate the implementation of all processes outlined within the project, ensuring the timely and effective introduction of the planned measures.
