Uzbekistan starts to develop state programme “Year of healthy mother and children”
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed an order “On organizational measures on development and implementation of the “Year of healthy mother and children”. The commission is led by Prime Minister Shavkat Mirziyayev.
The document also determined priority tasks of the state programme. In particular, the programme should envisage measures on further improving legislative framework for protection of family, motherhood and childhood, interest of women, etc.
The programme should also include measures on creation of necessary social, domestic and medical construction of population, living in remote areas, first of all to women, creation social infrastructure, provision of clean water, etc.
The document will also envisage measures on improving potential of medical institutions, including screening centers, as well as strengthening responsibility of medical personal for examination of people. It will also include measures on improving medical culture of population and promotion of sports among young people.
The programme will include measures on strengthening education system, employment of graduates of colleges, crediting their businesses, etc.
