Uzbekistan, Spain Strengthen Inter-Parliamentary Dialogue

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —In Madrid, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held a productive meeting with Javier Ignacio Maroto, First Deputy Chair of the Spanish Senate.

During the talks, both sides discussed strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue and developing regular exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

Special attention was given to the potential of economic diplomacy, which the parties intend to actively pursue.

It was noted that the partnership between Uzbekistan and Spain, rooted in a long-standing historical relationship, will continue to develop on the basis of mutual respect, trust, and shared values.
