Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Korea Vitaly Fen has held virtual talks with the CEO of CARIS Co. Ltd. Yu Cheol.

The negotiations were attended by the Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Alibek Kamalov, as well as the Hokim of Beruniy district Atabek Saparbayev, Counselor of the Embassy Alisher Abdusalomov.

The parties discussed issues of accelerating the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a modern cement plant in Beruniy district of Karakalpakstan.

Yu Cheol, expressing gratitude to the Uzbek side for the ongoing assistance, informed that his company is interested in the high-quality and successful implementation of the project in Karakalpakstan. He noted that the representative office of CARIS Co. Ltd. in Tashkent is carrying out active work to complete the feasibility study of the project in accordance with the requirements of Uzbekistan legislation. The financing and implementation of the first tranche are also at the stage of elaboration.

The parties agreed on further plans for promoting the investment project, and holding virtual talks on 24 December 2020.
