Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Uzbekistan set the corresponding rates of the state duties for industrial circulation of cannabis.

In March 2020, the circulation of cannabis for industrial purposes not related to the production or manufacture of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances is allowed. We are talking about the fibers and seeds of the cannabis plant with a tetrahydrocannabinol content of up to 0.2%.

This is a licensed area. Licenses are issued by the Ministry of Agriculture. The rate of state duty for issuing a license depends on the specific type of activity:

cultivation - 3,000 basic estimated values;

import (export), processing, storage, sale (release), purchase, transportation (for each direction separately, ed.) - 200 basic estimated values.

It should be noted that the permitted varieties of cannabis, the conditions for their cultivation and circulation, the licensing procedure must be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
