Uzbekistan, Romania discuss trade-economic relations

Issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, including the implementation of promising projects in various sectors of the economy has been discussed at the meeting, the Uzbek ministry said.

The parties have noted the importance of effective regional transport and transit corridors and modern logistics infrastructure in the region, including in the framework of the project "TRACECA", in order to create favorable conditions for increasing the volume of trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Romania and other European countries.

It was agreed to intensify cooperation in the framework of the joint intergovernmental commission for economic, industrial and technical cooperation.
