Uzbekistan Ratifies International Agreement with Turkmenistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree approving an international agreement with Turkmenistan.
The document ratifies a protocol amending the agreement between the governments of the two countries on cooperation in emergency prevention and response.
The protocol was signed on 17 November 2025, in Tashkent. The Ministry of Emergency Situations is designated as the authorized body responsible for implementing the agreement on Uzbekistan’s territory.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic will send Turkmenistan an official notification confirming the completion of all domestic procedures for the treaty’s entry into force and the appointment of the authorized implementing body.
