Uzbekistan Railways transports 4.6m passengers in 1Q

From stations of Uzbekiston Temir Yollari shipped 16.6 million tonnes of cargo in the first quarter of 2015, which rose by 4.2% year-on-year.

The passenger turnover made up 855.1 million pass-km in January-March 2015, and cargo turnover – 4.535 billion tonnes-km.

The volume of exports of Uzbek railway company reached US$78.3 million in the first quarter of 2015, while the enterprises of the company produced industrial goods worth 69.1 billion soums.

Uzbekiston Temir Yollari rehabilitated 44.3 km of railways and constructed 20 km of new railroads in the first quarter of 2015.
