Uzbekistan Railways inks agreement with DB International

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan Temir Yollari (Uzbekistan Railways) signed a JO2 contract with DB International (Germany) within the project on electrification of railroad Qarshi-Termez, the press service of the Uzbek company said.

Within the project, the German company will participate in electrification of railroad Qarshi-Termez. The company will provide consultation services as well.

The project on electrification of railroad Qarshi-Termez is directed at expanding passenger and cargo transportation, as well as improving quality of realway services.
