Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of production of services of Uzbekistan in January–March 2018 made up 31.91 trillion soums.

State Statistics Committee said the largest volume of market services is observed in transport services, trade services, financial services, communication services and information services in the field of education.

Among the regions, the largest volume is in Tashkent city (10.15 trillion soums), Tashkent (2.379 trillion soums), Samarkand (2.15 trillion soums) regions.

The smallest volume is observed in Syrdarya region (411,9 billion soums), Jizzakh (660,6 billion soums), Navoi (824,9 billion soums).

It should be noted that the dynamic development of services as a large-scale sector of the economy of the republic, able to meet the growing needs of individuals and legal entities in services, it is impossible without the successful functioning of the industry in the regions.

The largest share in the total volume of services by region occupy Tashkent (31.8%), Tashkent (7.5%), Samarkand (6.7%), Fergana (6.2%), Andijan (5.4%) regions.

Almost all regions have a positive impact the increase in the share of market services in the structure of services rendered, such as transport services, financial and trade services.

In Surkhandarya region the largest share of trade services was noted. However, in Tashkent city, this figure is relatively low.

This is due to the fact that the structure of services in Tashkent city prevail financial services, communication and information services, etc., the share of which in the regions is less. In January-March 2018, the volume of rendered market services was equal to 975,500 soums. The growth rate compared to last year was 6.2%.

The smallest volume of services per capita is observed in Surkhandarya region-472,400 soums, the growth rate was 103.9%. This is due to the fact that the region is densely populated.

For comparison, in Navoi region the volume of services per capita is 859.6 thousand soums. However, the number of this region is 2.6 times less than the number of Surkhandarya region.

One of the factors of increasing the volume of transport services in January-March 2018 is the increase in demand for services for the transportation of passengers and goods. Further development of high-tech services in the field of information and communication technologies, expanding the spectrum new types of services, as well as improving the quality of services, they influenced the growth of communication and information services.

Among the regions, the highest growth rate is observed in Navoi (+20,9%), Tashkent (+20,7%), Namangan (+19,9%), Jizzakh (+18,6%) regions compared to the same period last year. For comparison, in January-March 2017 the growth rate for communication and information services was equal: in Navoi - 5,2%, Tashkent - 20,4%, Namangan - 10,3%, Jizzakh - 9,5%) regions.

In the structure of services rendered by motor transport the largest share falls on Tashkent city (16,7%), Tashkent (13,8%), Samarkand (11,7%) regions.

In Syrdarya (1,6%), Jizzakh (2,7%), Navoi (2,7%) regions marked the lowest share in the total volume of services, provided by road transport.
