In the reporting period the greatest number of objects was privatized in the Tashkent region (72 objects), Namangan region (39 objects per each), Khorezm region (29 objects), Ferghana region (23 objects) and Karakalpakstan (21 objects), the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.
In the structure of privatized state property the highest share falls upon objects of local authorities – 220 objects.
Receipts of money from privatization and decentralization of objects amounted to 88 billion soums in January-December 2014.
The most part of receipts received from decentralization and privatization was marked in the city of Tashkent (45% of total receipts), Republic of Karakalpakstan (4.5%), Tashkent region (28.8%), Bukhara region (8.7%), Khorezm region (3.3%) and Namangan region (1.8%).
