Uzbekistan Plans Business Forum with South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan held a meeting with a delegation led by Choi Jin Yong, CEO of Herald Media Group.

Founded in 1953, Herald Media Group is one of South Korea’s largest English-language media companies and has extensive experience organizing international business forums. The company supports effective collaboration between Korean enterprises and foreign partners.

During the discussions, participants focused on preparations for the Uzbekistan–Korea Business Forum scheduled for June 2026 in Tashkent. The event aims to establish direct dialogue between the business communities of both countries, organize B2B meetings, and strengthen investment partnerships.

The meeting also covered incentives for Korean companies entering the Uzbek market, the development of new partnerships, and the expansion of practical cooperation.

Following the discussions, the parties agreed to continue collaboration to ensure the successful organization of the business forum and targeted meetings during the event.
