Uzbekistan marks Day of Remembrance of Repression Victims on 31 August and as a tradition events dedicated to the Day were held at Shahidlar Hotirasi memorial complex.

During the ceremony, the participants paid tribute to the memory of the victims of repression.

The President talked with the leadership of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, religious figures, mahalla activists and intellectuals.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev familiarized himself with the exhibits of the Museum of victims of repression. Shavkat Mirziyoyev instructed the officials to further improve the area around the Bozsu channel, which runs next to the museum.
