Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan hold consultations at level of foreign ministries

A delegation of Kazakhstan led by director of the Department of consular service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ardak Madiev participated in the consultations, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides discussed current state of relation in consular spheres and practical aspects of protection of rights and freedoms of the citizens of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, legal aid on civil, family and criminal cases, execution of agreement between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as international conventions.

At the meeting the delegations also exchanged information on the changes that have taken effect in the legislation of the two countries in this area, including on migration issues.
